Responsibilities
Own E2E product feature development of SmartNews Brannd Ads including Pacing, Delivery, Optimization, etc
Own revenue impact of Brand Ads
Build a customized algorithm and model for various industries to optimize our advertiser’s goal.
Make a strong partnership with product teams in Tokyo to serve our advertiser’s needs.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
English: Fluent ~ native
Experience working for brand ads or other ads product
Able to build a strong team through hiring, as well as mentoring/growing engineers by constantly challenging them with solid support
Experience in leading cross-team/cross org projects/initiatives
Strong leadership and communication skills
MS or BS in computer science, mathematics, physics or other quantitative fields

Preferred Requirements
High programming skills in one of these languages: Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Ruby
Development experience of distributed systems, or recommender systems
Development experience on AWS
Development and operation experience in high traffic web service
Development experience in the performance-based advertisement
Configuration, development, and operation of Microservice / Service Mesh architecture
Experience in SpringBoot, MySQL, Kafka, Flink, Elasticsearch, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Istio, etc.
