The Duke Acoustofluidics Group is inviting the most motivated, talented postdoc and Ph.D. candidates to join us in finding innovative solutions for biomedicine.
We are recruiting exceptional Ph.D. and postdoc candidates with:

    Passion for innovation and excellence; relentless pursuit of results and success
    Excellent training and previous research experience in Science/Engineering, specifically: Acoustics, Analytical Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Optics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or Biology (strong publication record is highly preferred)
    Ability to collaborate and work in a team



Once joining our group, the candidates will be collaborating with the research groups of Prof. Stephen Benkovic (http://chem.psu.edu/directory/sjb1), Prof. Subra Suresh (http://www.cmu.edu/leadership/president-suresh/bio/ ), and Prof. Craig Cameron (http://bmb.psu.edu/directory/cec9 ).     One short write-up (no more than one page) justifying why you can contribute to our research on acoustofluidics (the fusion of acoustics and fluid mechanics for biomedical applications) and biomicroacoustics (the fusion of acoustics and micro/nano technology for biomedical applications) and how you will contribute (what kind of research you would do once you join us).
