Two Ph.d fellowships are available in Dr. Lu Lanyuan's group at Division of Structural Biology and Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences (SBS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The addmission can be as early as Jan 2011 if the candiate has G/T scores and contact Dr. Lu ASAP. Applicants for fall 2012 (deadline: Jan 31, 2012) should have a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, physics or other relevant areas before Aug, 2012. G/T scores are necessary. However, there is no minimum score requirement for the tests. Dr. Lu joined SBS/NTU on Sep 1, 2011 and his research interest lies in the field of computational biology. The research projects will focus on biomolecular modeling and simulation, in which physical principles and mathematical tools will be combined with the state-of-art supercomputer hardware at NTU to study a variety of biological systems such as membranes and proteins.
