A postdoctoral position is available in August 2011 in the Chemistry Department at Iowa State University to work on nanomaterials for renewable energy conversion and catalytic applications.
(Wenyu Huang was once a Postdoc fellow with Prof. Gabor A Somorjai in UC Berkeley)
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science and engineering. Applicants with training in nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, surface chemistry, spectroscopy (IR, UV-vis, Raman), and photocatalysis or electrocatalysis are strongly encouraged to apply.
