Graduate Assistant Positions for PH.D. Students are available in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV, USA). Our group's interests lie in Bio-MicroElectroMechanical System (BioMEMS) and microfluidics technologies and microdevices applied in biology, biomedicine, and Energy. Microfluidics is a multidisciplinary science that explores microtechology and biology at the interface of engineering, physics, chemistry and biology. We seek graduate students from a wide array of backgrounds in either of the following disciplines: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and materials or closely-related areas. Applications for Ph.D. Students will be preferred for those with or will get master degrees and proven publication records.
