Synthesis of Oxide Nanoparticles and Polymer Composites

A postdoctoral or research associate position is available in UCLA to synthesize oxide nanoparticles and polymer nanocomposites. PhD or MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science, with 3+ years of solution-based nanoparticle synthesis is required. Hands-on skills in solution chemistry, surface chemistry, and composite formulation are essential. Experiences in thin film coating and photophysics are helpful but not required.
The position is for 1 year, may be extended for up to 3 years pending funding availability.
