Italy boss Giovanni Trapattoni has again named an experimental squad for the
Romania friendly this weekend.

The Italian tactician has selected a 20-man party for Sunday's clash after i
t was confirmed that the game would go ahead.

Roma's Francesco Totti returns after he missed the 3-1 defeat to Poland last
night because of injury.

Juventus star Gianluca Zambrotta, Roma's Damiano Tommasi and Lazio ace Simon
e Inzaghi also return to the Azzurri fold.

While there is a first call-up for Parma stopper Marcello Castellini after h
is impressive performances over the last 18 months.

However, Alessandro Nesta, Marco Materazzi, Cristiano Zanetti, Rino Gattuso,
Fabrizio Miccoli and Christian Vieri won't take part after they were return
ed to their clubs.

Debut boys Antonio Cassano, who scored last night, Marco Marchionni and Fabi
o Bazzani will all get another chance to impress.

There were fears that the Romania tie would be postponed after the tragic ev
ents in Irag on Wednesday where Italian servicemen were killed in a terroris
t attack.

The FIGC have revealed that all the money raised from the game will be donat
ed to the families of the dead.
