CHELSEA have agreed to splash out ￡18.6million for Russia star Yuri Zhirkov

As SunSport revealed in March, Guus Hiddink recommended the 25 year old, dub
bed the Russian Ronaldinho, to Blues owner Roman Abramovich.


Zhirkov's agent yesterday claimed a four-year deal was signed two days ago a
nd that the CSKA Moscow star will move to Stamford Bridge later this summer.



But the left winger, who can also play at left-back, has yet to complete a m
edical.


And while the details of the contract have been agreed, it has not yet been
signed.


Under interim Blues boss Hiddink's advice, Chelsea will look to clear out se
veral players this summer - including Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou.


And that will pave the way for the arrival of Zhirkov, whose signing has bee
n approved by Chelsea coach- in-waiting Carlo Ancelotti.
