Nearly 7,000,000 votes
A total of 134,796 people all over the world voted for their favourite 50 European players, ten from each decade of UEFA's existence, making the overall number of votes cast 6,739,800.
Close race
The top four players gained over 100,000 votes each, with less than 1,000 votes separating the top two. In the top 50, there are at least eight players from each decade, with every playing position and many different countries represented. Today we continue our look at some of the great players that just missed out.
