INTERNSHIP TERM: 3 months +
■PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Details of The Research Theme Will Be Provided After Arrival):
Assisting the engineers and researchers on a radio-platform construction, specifically, it includes the tasks of FPGA function module design,experiment and testing ,
data collection and analysis, documenting, system testing.
■ EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED :
1) More than 1 year of FPGA design experience, ( Being familiar with Xilinx Virtex FPGA and VHDL or verilog is a plus);
2) Willing to have a 3-month non-interrupted work term to focus on the
job (5 days per week, 7 hours per day). (There will be a 2-weeks period
of design-tool-training/document-reading for the students before starting the design work).
3) Bachelor degree holder in Electrical Engineering area or relevant
majors, at present being a Master degree candidate or Ph.D. degree
candidate.
4) Permission of University supervisor is required for the time period
coinciding with the
university semester.
In addition, If the candidate have the following expertise, they will be more preferable:
1) Being good at Math and DSP theory and digital electrical circuit design;
2) C++ programming, Video processing, Wireless communication,
3) Good English communication skills;
4) Being familiar with Mathworks Simulink;
