The Triple Helix: The International Journal of Science, Society, and Law is an international, interdisciplinary, student-run journal of science, society, and law involving over 600 students worldwide in over 20 top universities including all Ivy League and many Ivy League-equivalent universities in the United States (U.S.), Oxford and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom (U.K.), University of Melbourne in Australia, the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong in Asia (for a complete list of chapter universities, please visit http://www.thetriplehelix.org/chapters/). As the first and only international student-run journal of its kind in the world, The Triple Helix has encountered record success since its launch in October 2004.

Focusing on some of the most pressing issues in science, technology, and research from an ethical, societal, legal, and/or political perspective, The Triple Helix explores how science will drastically impact our world and the obstacles it faces. Providing students’ perspectives on relevant and often controversial topics from around the world, the journal has seen rapid expansion of readership and chapter membership in the past year. As a non-profit organization that is entirely run by students, the journal boasts an impressive online and print readership that has given intelligent and global-minded students a forum for discussion on the local, regional, and international level.

Having turned away almost a dozen interested universities in the past 6 months, The Triple Helix has reinitiated its expansion efforts to top universities worldwide. As one of the best universities in the Asian region, if not globally, it is only natural that we extend this invitation to you, the undergraduates of the Tsinghua University, Peking University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This is a great opportunity to become involved in a highly interactive and reputable endeavor, and a chance to join hundreds of top-tier students around the world in a first-class publication.
