Position: University Relations (UR) Specialist (Vendor Employee)
Work Location: Based in Beijing
Primary Responsibilities:  
Join the Microsoft Research Asia University Relations team and make an impact on the future computer scientists and engineers. As a University Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
    Cultivate long-term in-depth partnerships with students and faculties and at the leading university departments in the fields related to software engineering in China.
    Cultivate the talents to Microsoft Research Asia and the academia
    Organize and support UR events, campus visits and campus recruiting.
    Identify opportunities for integrating with University Relations.
    Design, deploy and manage complex systems/tools and processes.
    Identify and track key metrics and utilize data to optimize systems/ process.
    Deploy and drive regional student online community.
Required Qualifications:
    Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
    Passion on communication with student and academia.
    Ability to plan strategically and create win/win situations which will benefit both academic partners and Microsoft.
    Ability to work independently, effectiveness in achieving results through individual and cross team efforts, demonstrated ability to identify strategic opportunities and provide appropriate solutions.
    Good knowledge of MS products and technologies
    Strong presentation, project management and business/development skills are essential.
    Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills required.
    Previous experience in the following areas is a plus:
•    Software development,
•    Technical training program and deployment
•    Student activity management
    A BA/BS or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS, Business or related discipline is required.
