Each day we are stepping closer toward being able to interact with computers the same way we interact with another human being. Speech Synthesis (Text-To-Speech) is a key part of that vision. The TTS team’s mission is to build the most human-sounding voices for as many languages in the world as possible.
The TTS team is looking for a language expert to take part in the development of our speech synthesis engines.
Responsibilities:
The TTS team is looking for language experts who is capable of
1. Supporting Simplified Chinese TTS development.
2. Identifying, analyzing, testing and correcting Simplified Chinese lexicon.
3. Identifying, analyzing, testing and correcting Simplified Chinese waveform and transcripts.
4. Analyzing prosody of Simplified Chinese.
职位要求 Qualification:
1. Native fluency in Simplified Chinese. Completion or near-completion of undergraduate or graduate degree in Simplified Chinese.
2. Familiar with general Simplified Chinese linguistics and phonetics. Have ability of linguistic description and explanation.
3. Excellent English and oral and written communication skills.
4. Detailed oriented attitude towards error and problem solving.
