Group Overview
We are looking for Interns for the Data Intelligence and Tools group. Nowadays, more and more data are generated and collected. The total amount of data increases so fast that it becomes very difficult for a person to find useful information he needs. In DIT group, we apply various machine learning and data mining techniques to analyze data from different sources and build tools to help others identify information easily and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities
1.    Analyze large scale of data with machine learning or data mining algorithms.
2.    Build tools that help others to analyze data

Required Qualifications:
1.    BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, Pattern recognition, or Signal Processing, experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, or Speech is preferred.
2.    Good programming skills (C/C++, C#), related project experience is preferred;
3.    Passion for research and innovation;
4.    Good communication skills and excellent teamwork.
5.    Functional English capability in reading and writing;
6.    Can commit at least 3-month internship;
7.    Can get advisor’s written approval.
