Group Overview
Researchers in the Visual Computing Group are turning their ideas into reality in areas such as computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, image/video analysis and retrieval. Projects pushing the state-of-the-art forward include face detection and tracking, face modeling and recognition, cartoon generation, video summarization, 2D and 3D object tracking, image and video retrieval for object tracking, image and video retrieval for MSN, and Xbox camera based game interfaces.

Roles & Responsibilities
VC Group welcomes students working on the projects for a period of minimally six months.

Required Qualifications:
If you are
1. MS/PhD in Computer Science or any related technical field and possess the following skills;
2. Familiars with following research areas
    Compilers,  Operating Systems
    Digital image processing / Computer graphics
    Parallel / Distributed systems – advantage

3. Interested in Compilers, and image processing or graphics.
4. Good programming skills or have related project experience;
5. Good reading, written, and oral English;
6. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork.
7. Can commit at least 6 months internship, can get your advisor’s approval.
