Group Overview
Using our voices to communicate continues to be the most natural and the easiest way to exchange ideas and thoughts. At MSR Asia, the Speech Group is working hard to turn their ideas into reality and improve spoken-language technologies, enable human-computer voice interaction, and enrich human-to-human voice communications. The group’s current focus includes speech recognition to enable computers to facilitate access to data, help create content, and perform tasks; speech synthesis to enable computers to speak with a human-sounding voice, to respond and provide information, and to read; and spoken-document retrieval and processing to enrich communication between people.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Bimodal (handwriting aided with speech) math formula input (already have something).
2. Graph based interactive correction of input math formulas.
3. Integrate of bimodal input and correction into a demo.
Required Qualifications:
1. BS/MS in Computer Science or any related technical field and possess the following skills;
2. Good programming skills or have related project experience;
3. Good programming skills with c++ and com
4. Good knowledge about tree and graph related algorithms
5. Good reading and written English;
6. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork.
