Job Description:
DB2 for z/OS OCC (Optimization Competency Center) team under CDL (IBM China Development Lab) DB2 z Development department is focus on DB2 z performance benchmark measurement and system performance tuning. They build up and maintenance the z/OS and DB2 z environment on their owned mainframe system for several DB2 z projects for both CSDL and IBM Silicon Valley Lab in US. The goal of the team is to provide DB2 z system performance lab benchmark measurement and tuning consultant to other IBM lab team and also Customers. The skill scope of this team are including z/OS system operating skill, DB2 z Admin skill and performance tuning skill.
Job Requirements:
* Graduate student, major in computer or related;
* Good at self-study, problem diagnosing and solving;
* Can dedicate to a long-term skill development progress;
* Know relational database, operating system, at least one programming language, DB2 or DB2 LUW for z/OS knowledge is plus;
* Good at communication, including both speaking and written English;
* Mainframe skill is plus;
* Graduated in 2008
