AOL China is looking for a Systems Administrator to provide Desktop Support and systems administration for communications systems in our Beijing office. AOL China has a mixed environment of Windows, Mac and Linux/FreeBSD, but this work would focus on desktop for all platforms users. Work would primarily be organized via our Desktop Support, concentrating on user support for the following:

    * Connectivity, including in office wired and wireless connectivity and remote access
    * Email including account management and access troubleshooting n a Microsoft Exchange environment
    * Deploy and Image PC Desktops and laptops with AOL standard Corp images
    * Desktop application support for MS office, internet web access, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware
    * Support for Video Conferencing and some basic support for PBX (Avaya)

         voice services

    * Maintenance and troubleshooting for user desktops and laptops
    * Basic troubleshooting and support for remote workers
    * Install and troubleshooting all variants of Linux and Unix OS
    * Reports to Global IT manager  ( USA and China)



    Experience/Qualifications Preferred:

    * The ideal candidate would have 3 years of experience providing desktop support in a mixed environment
    * The individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
    * Solid and current experience with Exchange 2003, Office 2003 and 2007
    * 3 years of Windows AD experiences
    * More than 3 years providing e-mail support in a complex environment (multi-site/multi-server/multiple platform mail routing)
    * Background managing blackberries and Blackberry Enterprise Server
    * Experience working with Linux in a desktop environment, including script based management and script based system installations.
    * Strong scripting skills with Windows and Bash under Linux
