Group Overview    
The Innovation Engineering Group is a new incubation group based in Microsoft Research Asia. Here teams are small, the environment is unstructured, and the work is fast-paced. One of our projects is an online marketplace that will be hosted in and targeted for the U.S. The project will be publicly available, and leverages technologies such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, ASP.NET, and C#.

Roles & Responsibilities    
We are looking for an enthusiastic SDET Intern to help us take the raw prototype Web Site and engineer it for the real world. Specific responsibilities include:
1.    Creating test plan and test case documentation,
2.    Writing automation in C# to control the application and simulate user scenarios,
3.    Reporting and following-through on bugs,
4.    Investigating security vulnerabilities, and performing load testing.

Required Qualifications    
You should be the kind of Tester who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment, where you will work closely with development, program management, product planning, & Designers to bring new ideas to fruition.
1.    Highly-motivated, with proven coding and debugging abilities;
2.    Fluent in oral and written English;
3.    Passionate, persistent, but disciplined about pursuing quality;
4.    Quick learner, and  work independently in a fast-paced environment;
5.    Knowledge in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, & XML is required.
