Responsibilities & Main Tasks:

·    We are looking to recruit engineers work with Core Network like MSS,GPRS,Centrel Process... for customer support and support of network rollout.

·    You will represent Ericsson while working with our customers to provide systems integration/customer support services.

·    You will work on developing and integration telecom services solution using Ericsson technology but also third party solutions.

·    This job requires extensive travel; up to 60% mainly in the China and APAC but also in the rest of the world, sometimes on short notice.

Required Skills:

·    Minimum a Bachelor of Science certificate in Computer Area/Telecommunications or equivalent.

·    Excellent English skill both oral and writing ability is mandatory. Good communication skills with ability to work in multi-ethnical environment.

·    Strong IT/IP knowledge is much more preferred.

·    Short and long term travel is needed.

·    We aim to recruit the students who are qualified and want to be Ericsson permanent employee after graduate. We expect you could work full time at most of time before graduate. We could arrange free time for you to prepare thesis ( around 2 months ).

Position: 8140  IMS System Engineer

Ericsson IMS Solution is a complete end-to-end offering for fixed and mobile operators, ranging from user devices to service creation and delivery. The solution provides standardized services such as IMS Push to Talk, IMS weShare (simultaneous speech and media sharing) and IMS Multimedia Telephony (including IP Telephony and IP Centrex), as well as supporting operator-specific innovations and existing investments which is new technology in telecom area.

Responsibilities & Main Tasks:

·         You will be part of team to integrate and verify products and solutions relating to IP Multimedia Domain.

·         Preparation and execution of internal tests, acceptance tests and field acceptance tests; including troubleshooting and configuration activities.

·         System Maintenance activities such as Query handling, Emergency support, Software updates and Trouble Report handling.

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Communications Engineering.

·         Advanced knowledge of IT/IP knowledge (CCNP, CCIE will be preferred)

·         Knowledge of Network and Signalling

·         Good command of English (verbal and written).

·         Could travel half time during a year with short notice.

·         Customer oriented, Pro-active, team-oriented and good communication skill

·         Could work almost full time before graduate

Position: 8020  OSS System Engineer

The job will involve:

·         Implementation & upgrade of GSM/UMTS Operations Support Systems.

·         System Maintenance activities such as Query handling, Emergency support, Software updates and Trouble Report handling.

·         Interface to customers and Global Support Centres.

Competence
QUALIFICATION

·         Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or Communications Engineering.

·         UNIX (Solaris) and relational database (Sybase) experience.

·         LAN, WAN, X.25, TCP/IP networking experience. Knowledge of router and switch.

·         Veritas Volume Manager experience is preferred.

·         Willing to travel half time during a year with short notice.

·         Customer oriented, Pro-active, team-oriented and good communication skill.

·         Good command of English (verbal and written)

·         Could work almost full time before graduate
