1. MTS Intern – Server BU – vTOManagement
(Key word: UI, Flex)
VMware is seeking talented Computer Science or Computer Engineering interns to join our Beijing ESX kernel networking team. Your duties will include:
-Research and study networking optimizer applications and solutions.
-Design and implement management framework for virtual appliances.
-Design and develop Flex-based management UIs.
Requirements
-Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a leading university
-Familiar with UI design, have experience with Flex
-Familiar with creation and consumption of RESTful web services
-Experience in one of the following: Java, JSP, C/C++, Ruby, Perl etc.
-Excellent written and verbal English communications and organization skills
-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-Able to work at least 3 days a week
2. MTS Intern – CPD
(Key word:Web development)
The Continuing Product Development (CPD) team is responsible for all VMware products after they have been released. The engineers analyze and reproduce customers’ reported escalations, perform root cause analysis, provide problem resolution and delivering critical software patch releases in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance various features for our flagship ESX products
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution for customer related product issues
- Utilize problem analysis expertise in defect and performance issue resolution to manage and resolve product defects
- Setup test environments and validate fixes provided for defects. Perform manual and automated testing.
Requirements:
- Strong education background in computer science or a related field from a top-tier school.
- Project experience on Linux-like platform.
- Exceptionally smart, hard-working, and has a can-do attitude.
- Strong teamwork
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
Intern Projects may provide hands-on experience in:
- Strong programming skills in Python language
- Good experience on web framework development like Django/Spring/RoR, familiar with JavaScript
- Database operation and configuration
- Experience on bug tracking tool like Bugzilla is a big plus
- Good communication skills
- Experience Working in a leading multi-international company
3. MTS Intern-Zimbra
(Key word: Java, Javascript)

Responsibilities:
-6 month internship with Zimbra China Team
-Work on Zimbra zimlet development
-Assit the manager with the China R&D site work
Requirements:
-Strong web development experience using Java/Javascript/JSP/HTML/CSS
-Experience with Linux System administration experience
-Good communication skill and people skill, fluent with written and oral English
-Familiar with email related messaging software, such as ZCS, Postfix and Exchange
-Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
-Computer related major, Master preferred.
-Experience with Photoshop is a plus
