INTER
Julio Cesar: 6.5 - The Brazilian number one didn't have a lot to do but made a couple of good saves from Odiah and Gonzalez to allay any nerves.
Maicon: 6 - Didn't see him break forward quite as often as he did in the first leg, and seemed to be clutching his thigh in the final minutes.
Samuel: 6.5 - Made a fine challenge on Dzagoev in the closing minutes and ensured that the majority of CSKA's shots were from at least 20 yards out.
Lucio: 6.5 - Solid at the back once again, dealing with the physical threat of Necid well and didn't allow Guilherme time to settle into the game.
Zanetti: 6 - Given problems by Krasic's pace in the first leg but never tested by Odiah while he was on the pitch. Shifted forward into midfield after Chivu's introduction.
Cambiasso: 7 - The Argentine can always be relied on to provide a steely performance when required, and he stuck to his guns to ensure CSKA had little time on the ball in midfield.
Stankovic: 5.5 - Gave the ball away in midfield too many times for Jose Mourinho's liking while only one of his four shots from range brought a save from Akinfeev.
Pandev: 5.5 - Always looked to cut inside onto his left foot but dallied in possession, resulting in his team-mates moving into offside positions. Replaced on the hour by Chivu.
Eto'o: 6.5 - Got himself into a goalscoring position on several occasions but was never quite able to pull the trigger in time and bring a meaningful save from Akinfeev.
Sneijder: 7.5 - Scored with a well-taken free kick that flashed under the CSKA wall, and in his playmaking capacity he was involved in nearly all of Inter's attacking moves.
Milito: 5.5 - Had two opportunities to score when he was through on goal but couldn't beat Akinfeev either side of the break, and he was hooked for Balotelli with 15 minutes to go.
Substitutes:
Chivu: 6 - Another solid shift from the Romanian as he continues his recovery from a skull fracture.
Balotelli: 6 - Almost found himself through on goal soon after coming on, only for Berezutski to make a last-ditch tackle.
Muntari: N/A - Managed not to get himself sent off in the five minutes he was on the pitch.
