Moratti: 'Balotelli not on form' Tuesday 23 March, 2010

Inter President Massimo Moratti weighed in on the Mario Balotelli saga. “He’s not on form either physically or psychologically.”

The striker has been dropped for the last few games due to an undisclosed disciplinary matter following his row with Coach Jose Mourinho.


“Mario is not on form,” Moratti told television show Striscia La Notizia.


“There are moments when you’re not on form either physically or psychologically.”


Striscia La Notizia was the programme that caused controversy yesterday when gifting Balotelli a Milan jersey with his name on the back.


The forward accepted it happily and, when he thought the cameras had left, even put it on to look at himself in the mirror wearing the Rossoneri shirt.


“I think the issues will be overcome happily, perhaps even in part thanks to you,” nodded Moratti.


“Mourinho is not against Balotelli or vice versa. Besides, you know more than I do, seeing as you spoke to Mario yesterday.”
