Turkey national team manager Fatih Terim believes that Inter President Massimo Moratti has made the right choice in appointing Jose Mourinho, and believes the coach will win them the Champions League.

Mourinho was officially appointed as the new coach of Inter on Monday, replacing Roberto Mancini who was sacked last week.

Many people believe that the Special One was brought in specifically to win the Champions League. The Nerazzurri flopped during Mancini’s time in charge, while they haven’t one the competition since 1965 during the reign of Moratti’s father, Angelo.  

One man who believes that Inter will now finally get their hands on Europe’s premier club trophy is Turkey coach Fatih Terim.

"Moratti has made the right decision,” Terim told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“With Mourinho, Inter will win the Champions League.”

Terim is familiar with Italian football, having coached both Fiorentina and AC Milan at the beginning of the millennium.
