Balotelli: Play Me Or I'm Off Too
Inter's teenage striking sensation Mario Balotelli has threatened to leave the club if he doesn't play regularly under Jose Mourinho.
The new coach is likely to be unveiled on Tuesday but there are fears that several players will get the chop so he can bring half of the Chelsea squad to the Nerazzurri.
Marco Materazzi has already threatened to walk out on the club if he doesn't get any first team action and now Balotelli, who has scored three goals in 11 games for Inter, is ready to jump ship if Mourinho decides to leave him on the bench.
"If I don't play then I will leave. It's as simple as that," Balotelli told Tuttosport.
The atmosphere inside the Nerazzurri seems turbulent and loyalties seem split. Half of the squad were furious when Massimo Moratti sacked Roberto Mancini and the others were delighted.
Mourinho will have a tough job of getting things right from the start of his reign and he will need to ensure his players are kept sweet or he could risk losing the whole side.
This could be a tactic used by the Portuguese, that way he will be forced to buy the players he wants if those currently at San Siro decide to move elsewhere.
