Tevez to Inter if Milito leaves Saturday 12 June, 2010

If Inter are to release Diego Milito for Real Madrid, then they are reportedly preparing a £35m offer for Carlos Tevez.
Milito has hinted he would like a substantial pay rise after his extraordinary Treble-winning campaign, while Jose Mourinho has already said he’d like the striker to join him at Real Madrid.
‘El Principe’ currently earns 3.6m per season and the club has offered 4.5m, but Milito’s agent has requested 6.5m.
“I must make some business evaluations and we’ll certainly sacrifice at least one player. It has to be done,” said President Massimo Moratti.
“As for the incoming transfers, we will know better how to approach the market next week when Rafa Benitez arrives.”
According to The Sun and Italian newspapers, Milito’s replacement will be fellow Argentine Tevez from Manchester City.
He has the same £35m price-tag as Milito, but is five years younger and has more international experience.
Benitez already tried to sign Tevez last summer for Liverpool, but City had the upper hand in a £25.5m bidding war.
