Bonucci valued at £26m Sunday 30 May, 2010

As Leonardo Bonucci edges closer to the World Cup, it’s reported Genoa will have to pay £13m to sign the other 50 per cent of his contract.
The defender had a fantastic campaign with Bari and is co-owned by the two clubs.
His performances at the Stadio San Nicola have helped him earn a place in the Italy squad and he looks likely to be in Marcello Lippi’s final list of 23.
If he has a good World Cup, the 23-year-old’s price-tag is set to rise even further, so Genoa have a tricky situation on their hands.
The Rossoblu currently own half his contract and would like to buy Bonucci outright.
However, Bari have reportedly requested at least £13m for their 50 per cent stake in the player.
If Genoa do sign him, then they are likely to sell him on again almost immediately, as Juventus and Inter are looking to snap him up.
It would be curious to end up at Inter, as he was in their youth system and only left in 2009 as part of the transfer that took Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to San Siro.
