Inter will not be paying €3 million to Real Madrid in a so called ‘Eurotax’ after their Champions League triumph on Saturday night.
During the week la Gazzetta dello Sport had reported that the Milan giants would have to compensate the Spanish outfit on sealing Europe’s premier crown due to a clause in Wesley Sneijder’s transfer from the Merengues last summer.
Despite the reports, it now appears that no such clause ever existed as confirmed by Inter patron Massimo Moratti.
“The Sneijder deal didn’t include any prizes for the Madrid outfit,” he declared to Tuttomercatoweb.
