Pandev: "Concentration and happiness"

APPIANO GENTILE - A number of Inter players spoke to the international press during today's media open day at the training headquarters. And Goran Pandev was surprised to see such a big turn-out.

"It's the first time since I have arrived here that I have seen so many journalists at the training centre," he said. "Even the few training sessions that have been open to the press can't compare. But it's fine like this. We managed to train calmly. We're happy and we can't wait to play this great game on Saturday.

"Maybe I still don't fully realise where we have arrived, but I am very happy and I hope to enter Inter's history after Saturday's match. I spent six difficult months at Lazio and I have joined a strong team. I couldn't have imagined so much happiness. I can only thank the coaching staff and all the lads for their help.

"I had that small injury but I'm fine now, I'm training very well and I'm ready to give a hand to this team."
