Engineering Manager（go/python）
What you get to do:
o Attract and retain top engineering talents.
o Mentor and grow team members, ensuring their continued growth and development to keep them motivated.
o Be the owner of a social analytics platform, and be accountable for all the decisions involving people, technology and project executions for the team.
o Represent your teams in the engineering and product discussions with upper management and other teams.
o Ensure the timely execution of the technology and product roadmap, as well as the quality of the delivery, scalability, stability and resilience of the platform.
o Collaborate with social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
o Develop innovative strategies, processes and best practices to reduce technical debt, increase observability and reliability.
What you bring to the role:
o BS in CS or equivalent, Masters preferred.
o 7+ years of software engineering and architecting experience.
o 3+ years of experience as a manager or senior manager.
o Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable production quality backend systems, with solid understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data processing, and associated trade-offs.
o Proven track records of end-to-end product building, familiar with the whole life cycle of product engineering, including various engineering processes, quality assurance, production tracking and monitoring.
o Proven track records of leading, building and growing high-performance teams with timely and high-quality deliveries.
o Comfortable with ambiguity.
o Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
o Remote team working experience preferred.
