Now I'm facing a problem in my reaction.
I acrylate the end hydroxyl group on my polymer with acryloyl chloride,
but the solution turn red after 8 hours stirring in the oil bath at 45 degree.

I use 4-(dimethylamino) pyridin as catalyst,and triethylamine as scavenger.

Any XDJM did the similar reaction before,please help me.
My best result is product with yellow color.I don't know why.
I cannot find a group to give that color.
Oxidation?
