Project Officer and Postdoctoral Fellow Positions in Graphene in the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) (Singapore)
Research Topic:
Graphene is the next generation nanomaterial with outstanding electronic materials. It is a fairly untapped material. Large scale solution processing of defect free graphene remains relatively untapped. We are interested in solution processing of defect-free graphene as transparent conductors.
Requirements:
Good academic results from a reputable University, preferably with experience in graphene or carbon materials or device. For the Project Officer position, a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics and some laboratory experience are necessary. For the Postdoctoral fellow, a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics and research experience are necessary.
Professor Mary Chan-Park:
Dr Chan-Park did her PhD in polymers in MIT in 1993. She then did her postdoctoral fellow under the sponsorship of Dow Corning (USA). She worked for 10 years in industries in various technical management positions in USA and Singapore. She was a senior technical manager in Sipix Imaging (CA, USA) from 1999-2001. She then joined the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2001. She is currently Professor, and also Acting Chair at the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering in NTU.
